Cold Storage Bringing Festive Cheer to the Less Fortunate This Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas as Malaysians, both young and old, prepare themselves for the year-end festivities, filled with joy, laughter and of course presents! Spreading the cheer and joy this festive season, Cold Storage organizes an extra special Christmas Party, closing the year with the spirit of giving.

The brand, a trusted name in fresh produce to the local community for over five decades, hosted children, old folks and representatives from the Joy To The World Community Services (House of Joy), Persatuan Kebajikan dan Sosial Kim Loo Ting Kuala Lumpur and Persatuan Kebajikan Damai Chempaka Kuala Lumpur dan Selangor, for an unforgettable Christmas experience.

With much to do throughout the year-end breaks, it can be easy to forget those who are less fortunate or the underprivileged community, who might not be able to spend time with their loved ones let alone a celebration. With this in mind, Cold Storage wanted to play their part in giving back to the community who have supported the brand so much, to put a smile on their faces with a Christmas celebration like never before.

Held at Cold Storage Sunway Putra Mall, the event was a quintessential Christmas affair, complete with Santa and his Santarinas, performances from carolers and even a Christmas Turkey. Children and old folks from the three homes enjoyed a full day filled with activities, games and performances. Ending on a high note, Cold Storage surprised the three homes by presenting a cheque of a total of RM15,000 to assist in easing home’s cost and burden.

Not forgetting the children and the old folks, the team at Cold Storage also surprised each of them with his or her very own Christmas present, showing them that Christmas is definitely one of the most wonderful times of the year.
